PRIDE IN THE PARK AT THE FAIRGROUNDS WITH DARIENNE LAKE AND FARROW

Rainbow Collective is excited to announce the 6th annual Pride in the Park event, with a new look this year. This annual celebration has been held in Memorial Park for the first 5 years, and year 6 will be held at the Erie County Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 14thfrom 11:00 am to 5:30 pm. This event marks a milestone as this is believed to be the very first Pride event to be held at the Fairgrounds.  This year’s Pride in the Park will feature a covered main stage, a Pride Jr. area (11:00-1:00) , community resource tables, and new this year will be a Vending area facilitated by AVA Collective. This area will have Energy Radio playing music and entertaining inside the building.  The entertainment lineup features Emcee Darienne Lake, from RuPaul’s Drag Race & All Stars! This year, our headliner will be FARROW, who will be performing their final performance at our Pride in the Park event.  The entertainment lineup begins with the Nickel City Treble Makers, followed by a Drag Queen Story Hour with Damsel ‘N Disdress. There will be several drag performances throughout the day, including Willa DeWhisp & Ditzy Duke. We have another band, Sasha Fleet, a dance party by DJ Lil Gab and finally, a performance by our youth Rock Band, Solar Frantics as well as bringing back a brief open mic opportunity in the Pride Jr. Area.  Pride Jr. will have crafts, face painting & games and will be open from 11-1, with a dance party or 2 with Elements Dance Studio.
