Mickey Harmon is a Buffalo-based illustrator, artist, muralist and community organizer. Just before the pandemic Mickey lost his salaried position at a local Buffalo company for illustrating nudes at his desk. Mickey hasn’t stopped illustrating nudes since. With a focus on the male form, Mickey, under the moniker Super Twunk, has worked with various body types all over the world. Ranging in intimate portrait commissions to full on queer festival identities, Mickey has worked in a wide range of illustrations handling the celebration and identification of all types of queer male forms. Join Mickey and friends at the BOX Gallery at 667 Main Street (next door to Hostel Buffalo Niagara) on First Friday, June 2nd, 2023 to view his collection of new works including paintings, illustrations and installations.
